He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Leckey Gough and Mattie "Bess" Stephens; his stepfather Grady Stephens, Sr.; his sister Shirley Gough Nugent; and his grandson James Anderson Gough.
He is survived by: his wife Shelia Gough; his children, John Lecky (Stacy) of Eucha, Joie Johnson (Joey) of Turkey Creek, Robin Gough (Mary) of Fairfax and Aaron Gough (Cherie) of Pensacola, Florida; his grandchildren, Lillian Taylor Gough, John Connor Gough, Caleb Paul Johnson, Ethan Christopher Gough, Brianna Pearl Gough, Liam Clint Gough, Ava Elizabeth Gough and Kinsley Marie Gough; his brother Elton Stephens (Roxie); and his stepsiblings, Genie Lewis (Gene), Harold Stephens (Mary) and Grady Stephens Jr. (Glenda). He is also survived by extended family and friends.
