He was predeceased by: his parents, John McDaniel, Sr. and Thelma; his sister Rhonda McDaniel; and his grandson Kyle David Landry. He is survived by: his children, Scott McDaniel of Pine Prairie, Darren McDaniel (Andi) of The Colony, TX, Dana Docherty (Jim) of Houston, TX and Laurie McDaniel (Robbie) of Opelousas; his stepson Todd Boudreaux of Texas; his siblings, Josette Williams of Pasadena, TX, Sonny McDaniel (Velma) of Pine Prairie and John McDaniel, Jr. (Shirley) of Baycliff, TX; and his grandchildren, Danyelle, Alycia, Brooke, Sydia, Ainsley, Kelly, Katie, Jillian, Jaclyn, Mallory and Isabella. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
