It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Prosper Fontenot III of Pine Prairie, Louisiana, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Jacob Fontenot; his brother Dustin James Fontenot; and his grandparents, Prosper, Hazel Fontenot, Clancy and Agnes Marcantel.

He is survived by: his wife Tina Fontenot of Pine Prairie; his children, Daniel Brock Fontenot (Tori) of Turkey Creek and Sabrina Strother (Zayne) of Elizabeth; his parents, Prosper Fontenot, II and Patty of Duralde; his siblings, John Fontenot (Michelle) of Leonville, JoAnna Fontenot of Mamou, Nicole Guillory (Mitch) of Duralde and Melissa Richardson of Alexandria; and his grandchildren, Mason Fontenot and Chloe Fontenot.
