She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Robert Simpson and Ermine Simpson. She is survived by: her spouse John Lea of Pine Prairie; her sons, James Robert Lea (Katie) of Deer Park, TX., John Patrick Lea of Pine Prairie and Daniel Stephens Lea of Baytown, TX.; her sister Susan Elizabeth Dronet of Indian Village; her grandchild Nicole Kathlene Hamilton; and her great grandchildren, Collin Pierce Hamilton and Cadence Elaine Hamilton.
