With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnie Freeman Sr. of Pine Prairie, Louisiana, who passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Freeman and Rosie Freeman; his sons, Donnie Freeman and John Kerry Freeman; and his siblings, Ruby Havard, Maggie Sanders, Ralph Freeman and Ben Joe Freeman.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Freeman of Pine Prairie; his children, Robert Freeman of Oklahoma, William Freeman of Texas, Mark Freeman of Arkansas, Johnie Freeman, Jr. of Texas, Linda Leccese of Florida, Betty Ann Freeman of Florida, Maggie Yaws of Texas and Kristina Yandell of Arkansas; and his siblings, Paul Freeman of Arkansas, James Freeman of Louisiana, Dorothy Ezell of Louisiana, Eloise Arnold of Louisiana, Fannie Arnold of Louisiana, Isabell Arnold of Louisiana and Ivy Jean Fowler of Florida. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
