It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Lionel Veillon of Pine Prairie, Louisiana, born in Ville Platte, Louisiana, who passed away on January 31, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolsey Veillion and Hilda Johnson Veillon; and his granddaughter Brittany Richard. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Ortego Veillon; his children, Randall Veillon (Cathy), Mark Veillon (Michelle), Jackie Veillon Coder (Robert), Karen Veillon Richard (Gordon) and Kevin Veillon (Angie); and his siblings, Farrel Veillon, Robley Veillon, Freddie Montaldo and Patrick Veillon. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
