She was predeceased by: her mother Lora Guillory Bertrand; her husband Jewel Rayford West; her son Charles Rayford West; her siblings, Janella Bertrand, Lovella Lewis, Floyd Bertrand and Preston Bertrand; her parents-in-law, Charlie and Alma West; and also, Vera Ricketts (Mike) and Virgie Frank (Edwin).
She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Jeneen West Boudle of Baton Rouge and Patricia Dale West Murphy (Joe) of Walker; her siblings, Keith Bertrand of Texas, Grifford Bertrand of Texas, Geneva Brumley of Texas and Brenda Hensley of Texas; her grandchildren, Joshua Alan Murphy (Cara), Ashley Nicole Boudle (John Simpson) and Jordan Christopher Boudle; and her great grandchildren, Parker David Stallings, Carson Alan Murphy and Mia Marie Murphy.
Due to concerns of Covid-19, the family respectfully asks that everyone attending practice social distancing and wears a mask.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Food Bank of Central Louisiana at 3223 Baldwin Avenue, Alexandria, LA 71301.
