He is survived by: his children, Mia Akridge and Joel Akridge; his mother Cynthia Wheat Fitzgerald (Ron); and his siblings, Crystal Wheat Marchand (Bryan), Amanda Wheat Ross (Shannon), Becca Smith (Corey) and Christopher Turner (Erica). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
