She is survived by: her husband Roger W. Melancon; her daughters, Wendy Duhon (Benji) and Tara Melancon; her grandchildren, Douglas Ferris, Lyndsey Trahan (Cody) and Trent Threeton; her great grandchild Tristan Trahan; her sister Faye Prendergast; and her parents-in-law, Mike, Sheri Melancon, Lynn, Lisa Melancon, Terry and Vickie Melancon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
