He is survived by: his wife Mary Mabile Acosta; his children, Belinda Caballero (Kyle), Jerome "Jay" Acosta, Jr. (Pam) and Clint Acosta (Julie); his grandchildren, Chase Falcon, Joey Acosta, Josh Acosta, Katie Bergeron (Cody), Abby Acosta and Ella Newton; his great grandchild Liam Bergeron; and his sisters, Rosemary Landry (Pete), Judy Chauvin (Kenny), Philip Mabile, Orien Boudreaux, Vivian Jr, Sidney Cavalier, Jr. and Yvonne Mabile. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
