She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Daniel Klug and Geraldine Klug; her husband David Smith; her children, Theodore Smith and Brandy Smith Blackwell (Trey); and her grandchildren, Cort, Connor, Victoria, Wesley and Annabeth Blackwell. She was also cherished by Married to the love of her life for 55 years.

The family requests memorial donations to the ASPCA, in lieu of flowers.
