He is survived by: his wife Fran Songy; his siblings, Gary Songy (Karin), Kirk Songy (Cheryl), Daniel Songy (Jolie) and Monica Songy Trepagnier (Tracy); his siblings-in-law, Albert Sunseri and Kathy Songy; his nephew Richard Songy, Jr.; and his niece Caitlin Berni.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Honaker Funeral Home (1751 Gause Blvd W, Slidell, LA 70460). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (1751 Gause Blvd W, Slidell, LA 70460).
