She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda McCormick and Broward McCormick. She is survived by: her husband Richard; her children, Lori Koen Slavich (Anthony), Juli Koen Byrd (Bobby) and Richard Koen Jr. (Becky); her grandchildren, Miranda Neyland (Mac) and Richard Koen III; her great grandchildren, Beckham and Maverick; and her brothers, Buddy and Carl Munch. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Audubon Funeral Home & Cremation Services (61101 US-11, Slidell, LA 70458). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flower, donations to Joy's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Hospital (https://www.stjude.org), are appreciated.
