He is survived by: his wife Elvira Gaines; his children, Charlie Gaines (Veronda), Eva Gaines Merrifield (George) and Shelia Gaines Hinson (Don); his sister Ethel Sue Lott (Billy); his grandchildren, Chris, William, Coy, Brittany and Brayden; and his great grandchildren, Logan Jr., Olivia Jr., Brentley Jr., Brock Jr., Abbi Jr. and Henry Christopher, Jr..
