She was predeceased by: her husband John Kiern; her parents, Eugene J. Smith and Ida LeBreton Smith; her daughter Pamela King; her son-in-law Terry Simmons; and her siblings, Alcuin Smith, Robert Smith, Eugene Smith Jr., Mabel Smith Guidroz, Valerie Smith Crowe and Paulette Smith Lazare.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Simmons; her grandchildren, Todd Simmons (Deena) and Jessica Elsensohn (Glenn); her great grandchildren, Cassidy, Alyssa, Madison, Ty and Brennan; and her sister Claudette Smith Gereighty.
