She was predeceased by: her sons, Melvin E. Cooper Jr. and Darrell W. Cooper; her parents, Lester Villneurve and Louise Desmoore; and her brothers, Lester Villneurve Jr., Edward Villneurve and Carl Villneurve.

She is survived by: her sons, Ernest L. Cooper and Roy A. Cooper; and her siblings, Anita V. Haisch and Dennis Villneurve. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
