He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Jane Showalter and David George Showalter; and his brother David George Showalter Jr.. He is survived by: his spouse Jan M. Jensen-Showalter; his children, D. J. Showalter, Devin Showalter, Jordan Showalter and Justan Showalter; his siblings, Tina Lobrano and Randal James Showalter; and his grandchildren, Audrina Grace Showalter, Weylin Allan Showalter, Emmie Jane Showalter and Kyleigh Eva Dibble. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Burial will be private. Due to COVID-19, face masks and social distancing are required.
