He was predeceased by: his parents, Arb "Dutch" Lee Blackwell, Sr. and Mary "Dot" Dorothy Moran Blackwell. He is survived by: his wife Gail of Bouchel Blackwell; his children, La Donna Blackwell of Houston, TX and Matthew Blackwell of Lafayette, LA; his brother Terry Blackwell (Carol) of Slidell, LA; and his grandchildren, Gillian, Adam Blackwell of Lafayette, LA and Tyler Logan of Houston, TX..
