With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Mary Eckerle-Soleto of Paulina, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on January 30, 2021 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Eckerle and Norma Eckerle; and her former husband Joseph S. Cannatella, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Cannatella, Kevin Cannatella (Cecile Cannatella Simoneaux), Lisa Cannatella Stein (Mark) and Brian Cannatella (Shelley); her grandchildren, Ryan of Ashley, TJ, Taylor, Brooke, Savannah, Isabella and Briley; her great grandchildren, Brody, Norah and Wyatt; and her siblings, Carol Gibert (Charles), Walter Eckerle, Jr. (late Shirlene) and Gaynell Ockman (late Owen). She is also survived by her children, her grandchildren, her great grandchildren and her friends.
