She was predeceased by: her husband George Joseph Bourgeois; her daughter Lori Ann Bourgeois; her father Joseph B. Waguespack; and her brothers, Huey Waguespack (Juanita) and Percy Waguespack (Bertha). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to thank Audrey Louque, Demetrice "Noonie" Brown, Modern Hospice, and all others who assisted Ruby in her journey with Parkinson's Disease.
