He was predeceased by: his wife Iris Naquin Oubre; his son John J. Oubre; his parents, Lillian Chenier Oubre and Frank Remy "Regis" Oubre; and his brother Ned J. Oubre.
He is survived by: his children, Eric M. Oubre, Adrian P. Oubre and Ann M. Comardelle (Ernie); his grandchildren, Trevor, Tori and Novajane Comardelle; his great grandchildren, Eden and Kylen; and his siblings, Dorothy "Dot" Massi, Harry "Whitey" Oubre, Lorraine Oubre, Theresa Gautreau and Roline Larousse. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
