He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurin Oubre and Gertrude Ricker Oubre; and his brothers, Laurin Oubre, Jr. and Lowell Oubre. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Millet Oubre "Poochie"; his son Michael Oubre; his stepchildren, Donna Louque, Mark Louque and Deborah Patrick; and his sister Leah Trahan. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
