She is survived by: her husband Robert Short, Jr.; her children, Ebony Grogan (Saul) of Patterson, LA., Laquita Short of Patterson, LA., Trendon Short of Patterson, LA. and Desmond Short of Duson, LA; her father Louis Tillman of Houma, LA; her brother Dean Maize, Sr. of Morgan City, LA; her grandchildren, Ke'sean Francois, Kendall Francois, Sa'nyria Grogan, Saul S. Grogan, Skye Grogan, Janaisia Short and Desiree Short; her godparents, Coach, Pastor Larry Frank, Sr. and Golden Frank of Thibodaux, LA; her sister Kimberly Bass of Houma, LA; and also Larry Frank, Jr.. She is also survived by step siblings, nieces, nephews, godchildren, other relatives and friends.
A public walk through viewing will be conducted from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, LA. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing with the recommendation of signing the registry book, viewing and exiting).
