Ruth Adeline Wiggins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Adeline Wiggins of Patterson, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Thompson Duay and James Avery Duay Sr.; her brother James Avery Duay Jr.; her sister-in-law Janis Williams Duay; her sister Erna Duay Thibodeaux; her brother-in-law Gerald Thibodeaux; her brother Carl O'Neal Duay; her grandson Easton James Wiggins; her niece Anette Thibodeaux Womack; her siblings-in-law, Sandra Wiggins Messenger, Cynthia Wiggins Cothron and Terry Wiggins; and her parents-in-law, Annie Vallet Wiggins and Harry Paul Wiggins.
She is survived by: her husband Harry Lee Wiggins; her sons, Bryan Wiggins (Erin) and Shane Wiggins (Tiffiny); and her grandchildren, Bryan Charles Wiggins, Charlotte Elizabeth Wiggins, Carlie Wiggins Byrd (Rachel), Cayla Wiggins Morris (Colt) and Cameron Austin Wiggins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:20 AM at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church (1112 Saturn Rd, Morgan City, LA 70380). A rosary was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 11:55 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:15 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery - Patterson (1011 1st St, Patterson, LA 70392).
