It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rickey James Gunther of Patterson, Louisiana, born in Crowley, Louisiana, who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence L. Gunther and Carol Myers Gunther; his grandparents, Amel Gunther, Agnes Gaspard Gunther, Dewey Myers and Lillie Mae Simar Myers; and his cousin Michael J. Gunther.
He is survived by: his daughter Alexis Gunther; his former wife Christina Ashley Dinger; and his aunts and uncles, Joseph J. Gunther (Gloria), Jerry Myers (Ruby) and Mary Gunther Menard (Charles). He is also survived by extended family and friends.
The family requests all in attendance to wear face masks.
