He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Darby, Jr. and Sadie Mae Stevenson Darby; his grandson Lynwood Javon Clark; his brother Henry Lee Darby, Sr.; his nephew Henry Lee Darby, Jr.; his nieces, Gwenette Faye Darby and Rena Darby Calloway; and his siblings-in-law, Stella Darby, Jean Bobbie Thomas-Darby, Sunny Lawrence and Nelson Calloway.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Ann Darby of Patterson, LA; his children, Lynwood Darby, Jr. (Joyce) of Patterson, LA, Michael Darby (Felicia) of Patterson, LA, Kevin Darby of Morgan City, LA, Don Freeman, Dewayne Freeman, Linda Darby (Benny) of Franklin, LA, Sadie Darby of Morgan City, LA, Pamela Streams (Wilfred) of Houma, LA, Lynetta Grogan (Robert) of Patterson, LA, Cheryl Mack (Darren) of Sioux City, IA and Kendra Foster (Charles) of Verdunville, LA; and his brother Louis Darby of Franklin, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A public viewing will be observed on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street Franklin, LA. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing). Funeral Services will be private.
