She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Himel and Corrine Duet Himel; her husband Edward T. Diaz; her son Edward "Butch" T. Diaz Jr.; and her siblings, Dorothy Himel Belanger, Lottie Himel Thomas, Beverly Himel Sapia and Errol Himel.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Gisclair (Victor), Mona Chatelain (Mark), Jon Diaz (Liz), Clayton Diaz, Don Diaz (Bobbie), Scott Diaz (Cheryl) and Dean Diaz; and her grandchildren, Michael Beasley Jr. (Lucy), Edward T Diaz III (Brianne), Robert Diaz (Malissa), Dion Chatelain, Nicole Swicord (Willis), Julie Renee Diaz, Blake Diaz and Don Diaz Jr.. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
