He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Dwight Absher and Della Breaux Absher; his brother Jeffrey N. Absher; his godson Danny Brown; his nephew Ryan Gilbert; and his pet Pepper.
He is survived by: his wife Teala G. Absher; his sons, Neal Geisler (Melissa) and Jordan Absher; his grandchildren, Abby Marsh (Josh), Savannah Absher and Wyatt Absher; his great grandchildren, Aubrey Geisler, Madison Marsh and Chloe Marsh; his daughter-in-law Tiffany Waln; his siblings, Edward "Eddie" Absher (Kim), Rodney Absher (Cindy), Suzanne "Susie" Boudreaux (Brent) and Kevin Absher (Lisa); and his in-laws, Gina Toups (Karl), Reva Fromenthal (Terry), Anna Gilbert (Dave), Albert Geisler and Sye Geisler (Minette). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
