Singleton, Orlean Watson and Fred Douglas Ruffin Sr.; his aunts, Delores Short, Stephanie Singleton, Mathilda Harris and Betty Young Duchan; and his uncle Louis Henderson.
He is survived by: his mother Marion S. Murray of Patterson, LA; his sons, Carl Murray, Jr. and Jamar Murray; his fiancée Darlene Johnson of Morgan City, LA; his stepson Cornelius Anthony Johnson of Opelousas, LA; his siblings, Vernita L. Murray of Live Oak, CA, Patricia Bias of Houma, LA, Carla Dewey of Patterson, LA, Janel Gray of Gibson, LA, Renita Jackson of Gray, LA, Leroy Murray (Celeste), Chad Singleton of Patterson, LA, Rickey P. Murray of Austin, TX, Johnell Gray of Gibson, LA, Cecil Rose and Chance Rose of Thibodaux, LA; and his granddaughter Karlie Smith. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation will be observed Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Walmsley United Methodist Church. 608 Freret St, Morgan City, LA 70380 from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing).
