He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sandra Brooks Mitchell; his children, Caneisha Brooks, Calvin Bute Mitchell, Jr., Jalen Scott and Terrell Hall; his siblings, Stella Lewis (Clifford), Berkley Henry, Harold Mitchell, Sr. (Renee), David Triggs, Jr. (Melanie Bias) and Grant Wesley (Justine); his sister-in-law Betty Jean Wesley; and his friends, Carlton LaSalle, Anthony Henry, Sr. and Joseph Wells. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A public viewing will be conducted from 10:00 AM until dismissal services at 1:00 PM on Saturday November 14, 2020 at Jones Funeral Home 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, LA. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing).
