It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Lavergne Comeaux of Patterson, Louisiana, born in Lawtell, Louisiana, who passed away on May 19, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clebert Lavergne and Mable Smith; her brothers, William Lavergne, Dimmick Lavergne and Henry Lavergne; her son-in-law David A. Dill, III; and her grandson David Dill, IV.

She is survived by: her children, Craig Comeaux of Sunset and Lynne C. Dill of LaPlace; her grandchildren, Barrett Dill (Lexie), Brant Dill (Jennifer), Brennan Dill (Emily), Christopher Comeaux (Lindsey), Samantha Comeaux (Travis) and Zachary Comeaux; and her great grandchildren, Mabel Dill, Chase Dill, Maddox Dill, Morgan Dill, Jaxon Comeaux, Aubrey Comeaux, Benjamin Comeaux, Carson Comeaux, Drew Donnely and Vance Marquardt.

“My heart is heavy today as my Aunt Bonnie has passed. I always loved my Cajun heritage and my crazy Cajun family. She seemed like the smart sophisticated one and she would make.my mom.and dad laugh and was so kind to us kids, no matter what trouble we got into, and Craig made sure we found it. I will miss you deeply and I know my siblings and I feel the same about her. A wonderful, smart, funny and caring Aunt who loved her family. Rest in peace Aunt and give my dad a hug up there for me.”
