With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose M. Cancienne Estay Schaubhut (Paradis, Louisiana), who passed away on April 6, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Octave Sylvan Cancienne and Josephine Marie Thibodaux; her husbands, John Joseph Estay and Edward John Schaubhut; and her son Roy Anthony Estay.
She is survived by: her son Johnny Joseph Estay (Tina); her daughter-in-law Merril Estay (Roy); and her grandchildren, Pennie Scott (Curtis), Patty Cortez (Leonard), Rhonda Montet (Jude), Jonni Gonzales (Lee), Jessi Meadors (Kody), Mitzi Faucheaux (Tommy) and Matthew Estay (Megan). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.
Therefore, in lieu of flowers, her family would ask that donations be made in her name to Luling Living Center, 11250 Paul Maillard Road, Luling, LA 70070 to support resident activities.
