He is survived by: his wife Kay Smith Gauthreaux; his son Rene; his siblings, Janet, Michael (Pam), Norman (Mary), Stephen (Mary Beth), Gerard, Carolyn Leicher (Michael), Daniel, Donald and Miles (Robin); his uncle Mickey Quintana; his sister Mary Owen Quintana; his brother-in-law Louis Smith (Marilyn); his nieces and nephews, Laura, Julie, Mitzi, Alaine, Celeste, Jon, Ryanne, Stephanie, Edward, Shelbi, Anna Claire, Aaron, Hannah, Emma and Trevor; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chandler, Mallory, Ali, Julia, Reagan, Kennedy, Katherine, Ryan, Cecilia, Kailey, Hunter, Peter V, Miriam, Colin, Alex, Andrew, Zack and Cole; and also, Brandon and Abel.
