He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Frances Raney, Hugh Norris, Jack Reynolds and Tony Morton. He is survived by: his son Eli D'Wayne Morton; his parents, Shirley Reynolds and Tracy Morton (Leslie); his stepfather Jonathan Hickman; his sisters, Tiffany Meyer (Myron), Patricia Tynes (Drew) and Sierra Hickman (Dustin); his grandmother Linda Jaynes; his fiancée Amy Svitak; and his nieces and nephews, Adrian Kay, Anderson Meyer and Wayne Dugas.
Dakota strived to be a hero and left this life as one; as his last act on this earth was organ donation. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to The Fisher House Foundation, to help our Veterans.
