She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Matherne and Justilia Matherne; her husband Warren Joseph Matherne; and her sister Virginia Comardelle. She is survived by: her son Eric; her daughter-in-law Nena Matherne; her daughter Glenda; her son-in-law Brandt Dufrene; her grandchildren, Dawn Matherne Meyer (Brett) and Ryan Matherne; her great grandchildren, Drew and Beau Meyer; and her siblings, Elsie Tauzin, Thelma Leehans, Dolores Chiasson, Beverly Mabry, Leroy Matherne, Ernest Matherne and Gordon Matherne.
