She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Thibodeaux; her parents, Joseph Burleigh and Beatrice Lavergne; and her siblings, Irby Burleigh, Eric Burleigh, Aubrey Prejean and Ruby Landry.
She is survived by: her children, Melvin Thibodeaux (Jacque) of Fort Smith, AR, Vernita Budden (Guyton) of Palmetto and Mildred Ann Lieux of Baton Rouge; her sister Helen Olivier of Opelousas; and her grandchildren, Gary Thibodeaux (Tracy), Tony Thibodeaux (Laura), Jimmy Thibodeaux (Lindsey), Melissa Budden (Trentan Montet), Michael Allen Budden, Greg Rider (Lisa), Barry Rider (Cheryl) and Tracy Rider (Sam). She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
