He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph W. Sharon and Estelle Sharon; his daughter Dana Strickland; and his siblings, Joseph, James, Edward Sharon and Deborah Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Lorita Herrington Sharon; his daughter Melissa Hebert (Dalton, Jr.); his sisters, Amy Guillot (Curtis) and Juanita Jarreau (Joseph "Duddy"); his grandchildren, Heath Wayne Strickland, Bryan Strickland Jr., John Strickland, A. J. Hebert and Maranda Hebert; and his great grandchildren, Braylen and Sabastian.
