With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melba Brown Nevils (Otis, Louisiana), who passed away on October 15, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend Luke Nevils, Jr.; her parents, William Brown and Lilly Legg Brown; her son-in-law Ronald Monk; and her siblings, Raymond Brown, Dalton Brown, W. T. Brown, Jr. and Josanell Giles.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gayla Sue Monk, Linda Gail Leibson (Mark) and Rebecca Ann Chandler (Dennis). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; nephew.
