Bessie Richey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2021, at the age of 74, Bessie Richey of Otis, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul, Sr. Layssard and Kathleen Layssard; her husband Freddie Richey; and her sisters, Catheryn Holliman and Mary Louise Layssard.
She is survived by: her children, James Richey (Linda) of Otis, Teresa Truesdell (Patrick) of Troutdale, OR. and Louise Griffith (Mark) of Hendersonville, TN.; her siblings, Paul Layssard, Jr. (Marie) of Otis, James Layssard (Mary) of Kolin, Peggy Brown of Augusta, GA. and Delores Layssard of Alexandria; and her grandchildren, Kimberly Richey, Tracy Laborde and Elizabeth Simpson. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
