He was predeceased by: his wife Yvonne Wilson; his parents, William Wilson and Ella Wilson; his siblings, Audrey Riggleman, Arlene Cammack and Arlon Wilson; his daughter-in-law Charlotte Wilson; and his grandson Jeffrey Wilson.
He is survived by: his sons, Rodney Wilson (Mickey), Roger Wilson, Russell Wilson (Tina) and Rickey Wilson (Eileen); his brother Adrian Wilson (Beverly); and his brother-in-law Jim Cammack. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church (765 Mt Moriah Church Rd, Hineston, LA 71438). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
