He was predeceased by: his sons, Willie Durisseau, Jr. and Anthony Durisseau; his grandchildren, Dora Edmonds, Delanzo Veal and Wilbert Durisseau, Jr.; his great great grandchild De'Ondrick Veal; his siblings, Felix Durisseau, Jimmy Durisseau, Paul Durisseau, Jr., Isaac Durisseau and Sarah Slaughter; and his parents, Paul Durisseau and Mary Semien Durisseau.

He is survived by: his wife Irma Doucet Durisseau; and his children, Wilbert Durisseau, Ronald Durisseau, Donald Durisseau, David Durisseau, Catherine Hicks, Wanda Gibson, Sylvia Durisseau, Jenny Durisseau, Jackie Milburn, Charlotte Durisseau and Romona Durisseau. He is also survived by thirty eight grandchildren, sixty seven great grandchildren and thirty eight great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
