He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Clay and Euphieme Clay; and his sister Rose Mae Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Gloria G. Clay of Frilot Cove; his son William J. Clay, Jr. (Rachael) of San Diego, California; his brothers, Henry Clay (Theresa) of Bergen, Raymond Clay of Albion and John Clay (Sandra) of New Iberia; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Meagan and Hannah Clay. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Mr. Clay to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
