He is survived by: his wife Thelma D. Mason of Opelousas, LA; his children, Margaret L. Jones (Gerald) of Jacksonville, FL and Charles Mason, Sr. (Shenita) of Lafayette, LA; his grandchildren, Alisa Jones of Jacksonville, FL, Cherise Mason of Lafayette, LA and Charles Mason, Jr. of Lafayette, LA; and his great grandchild Rylee Mason of Lafayette, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
