She was predeceased by: her parents, Alcide Doucet and Hilda Doucet; and her brothers, Herbert "Cooney" Doucet, Warren Anthony "Put" Doucet, Wilken "Bay" Doucet and Carmel "Camen" Doucet.
She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Toomer (Shannon) of Opelousas, LA, Cordel Toomer of Opelousas, LA, Edrick Toomer of Opelousas, LA, Marvin Toomer of Opelousas, LA and LaVette Toomer of Opelousas, LA; and her siblings, Alcide "Boogie" Doucet, Jr. of Stockton, CA, Irma Durisseau (Willie) of Opelousas, LA and Juella Chambers (Gene) of Lebeau, LA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
