He is survived by: his wife Alice Lazard Pickens; his children, Christopher Joseph Pickens, Earnest Henry Pickens, Paul Anthony Pickens, Aaron James Pickens, Alice Michele Pickens and Birdell Marie Pickens; and his siblings, Leon Napolean Pickens, Jessie James Pickens, Joseph Daniel Pickens, Mary Jane Pickens, Martha Rose Pickens Pettiway and Anna Mae Lazard Pickens. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
