He was predeceased by: his parents, Logan Eason and Bertha Mackey Eason Jones; and his siblings, Alfred O. Eason, Lillie Mae Eason and Shirley Durden Fritz.
He is survived by: his wife Adeline Monroe Eason; his children, Deborah E. Encalade (Lester), Chicquita E. Keller (Angelo), Walter Eason Jr. (Deneisha) and Nolan Eason; and his siblings, Vanessa Griffin (Dexter) and David A. Durden. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 godchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Robinson Family Funeral Home (9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Mackey Cemetery.
