It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Waldene Frances Franchebois (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on March 4, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ferdie Lavergne Franchebois; her parents, Raoul Mallett and Irene Mallett; her sons, Mark and Dirck Franchebois; her brother Hugh (Melba Mallett); and her grandson Eric Pellerin.
She is survived by: her children, Hal "Nap" Franchebois (Julie) of Washington, Camille Pellerin (David) of Ville Platte and Lark Daigle of Opelousas; her daughter-in-law Candy Franchebois of Opelousas; her brother Carroll Mallett (Lois) of Prairieville; and her grandchildren, April Jull (Robbie), Amy Fewell (Josh), Scott Pellerin, Adam Briley, Alyce Briley, Sgt. Chance Daigle and Seth Franchebois (Kayla). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
