She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Edwards; her parents, Clarence Texada and Ethel Texada; her siblings, Winston Texada (Lonnie), Clarise Simon, Bettye Johnson, Ethel Mae Hamilton and Shirley Cobb; and her sister-in-law Georgia Texada.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Edwards of Palmetto, LA, Clarence Edwards of Opelousas, LA and Patricia Edwards of Palmetto, LA; her siblings, Clarence Texada, Sr. (Sheila) of Houston, TX, O'Neal Texada (Betty) of Houston, TX, Mabel Goodwin of Houston, TX and Lillie Young of Houston, TX; and her grandchildren, Ethel Rideau (Perry) of Palmetto, LA, Alicia Bowman of Opelousas, LA, Barrice St. Romain of Ville Platte, LA and Cicily Semien (Donald) of Opelousas, LA. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 10:00 a. m. to 11:45 a. m. at St. Matthews Baptist Church. ** Please be advised we will adhere to the safety measures and precautions provided by the state of Louisiana due to COVID-19.
