We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2022, at the age of 96, Violet Cushman (Opelousas, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Cushman; her parents, George Burleigh and Beatrice Burleigh; and her sisters, Lou Etta Young and Regina Thibodeaux.

She is survived by: her son Darrell Cushman of Opelousas; and her sister Estelle Burleigh of Sunset. She is also survived by her loving family and friends.
