She is survived by: her husband David Michael Johnson of Lawtell; her children, B. J. Johnson (Ciji) of Lawtell, Melissa Rodriguez (Jay) of Belle Chasse and Nicole Thibodeaux (Brandon) of Opelousas; her sisters, Pat Soileau of Prairie Ronde, Flo Thibodeaux (Wade) of Lawtell and Josie Burleigh of Prairie Ronde; and her siblings-in-law, Mickey Olivier, Jeanette Olivier, Veronica Olivier and June LeBlanc. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sibille Funeral Home (2309 George Dr, Opelousas, LA 70570). A prayer was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Bellevue Memorial Park (4833 LA-182, Opelousas, LA 70570).
